FINANCIAL INFORMATION
We are committed to making an Antonelli education affordable. Through a variety of financial assistance programs, we are able to ensure that for the majority of our students cost does not become a prohibitive factor.

EXPENSES – APPLICATION / ENROLLMENT FEE
The $125.00 payment that accompanies the Application for Admission covers both the one time only application fee of $25.00 and an enrollment deposit of $ 100.00. This $100.00 deposit is completely refundable if the applicant is rejected for admission by the school. Also, the $100.00 deposit is refunded when an applicant cancels within five business days after submitting the Application/Enrollment Agreement Fee, provided the student has not begun classes. The entire $100.00 enrollment deposit will be credited as a deposit against the first semester tuition. The enrollment deposit is non-refundable if the student does not start class.

The Institute reserves the right to adjust tuition rates within the scope of the rules and regulations of the Pennsylvania State Board of Private Licensed Schools. Tuition changes will take place at the beginning of a semester, but only with the approval of the State Board. Every attempt will be made to notify students in writing 60 days prior to any such adjustment.

Current tuition charges are listed in the Catalog Tuition Supplement.

FINANCIAL AID
The Financial Aid Office at Antonelli Institute is a student support service to students and their families. The office provides assistance to students and administers the various sources of funding at the federal and state levels.

Financial Aid is available to eligible students in the form of grants and loans. Grants and loans at Antonelli Institute are awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need as determined by the information provided on the financial aid application materials.

Once an aid application is received and reviewed and eligibility determined, the student will receive a letter from the Financial Aid Office indicating the type of assistance the student is eligible to receive.

The Financial Aid Office, upon request, will provide an estimate of financial aid availability to any prospective student.

FINANCIAL AID ADVISEMENT
The purpose of the financial aid programs administered by Antonelli Institute is to allow access to higher education for students who would be unable to attend without such aid. The amount of assistance awarded is based on the student’s measured ability to meet educational costs by means of personal and family resources.

Antonelli Institute participates in the following programs:

  • Federal Pell (Basic Educational Opportunity) Grant
  • Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
  • Federal Family Education Loan Programs (FFELP) including:
  • Federal Stafford Student Loan and Federal Plus Loan
  • Federal Perkins Loan Program
  • Federal Work Study (FWS)
  • Pennsylvania State Grant – PHEAA Grant (PA residency required)

Financial aid planning requires a careful examination of resources. It is wise to begin to plan early. Information and applications for financial aid are available at the Financial Aid Office. Students should contact the Financial Aid Office to help determine eligibility for financial aid assistance upon approval of the application for admission. The Financial Aid Director is accessible to students and their families and willing to help. No student should discontinue their studies because of financial considerations without first consulting the Financial Aid Office.

WHEN TO APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID
All students who are seeking financial aid must apply each year. Prospective students should arrange to meet with the Financial Aid Office at the time of their admissions interview. Students seeking financial aid will be required to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA is available from Antonelli Institute’s Financial Aid Office or in high school guidance offices. It should be completed when it becomes available and submitted to the Financial Aid Office or mailed early.

Returning students must reapply for financial aid each year. A Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be completed. A renewal FAFSA will be sent automatically to the student’s address of record if aid was received the previous year or replacement application may be obtained in the Financial Aid office.

MINIMUM CANCELLATION, WITHDRAWAL
AND SETTLEMENT POLICY

A student will not be considered officially withdrawn from the Institute until written or verbal notification has been given to the President or Bursar. When notification is not given, the Institute will determine the date of termination/withdrawal. The termination/withdrawal date, for refund computation purposes, is the actual date of termination/withdrawal by written or verbal notification or as determined by the school based upon the last date of attendance when written or verbal notification is not given. The President may, at his discretion, terminate a student prior to completion for unsatisfactory progress, non-payment of tuition or fees, or failure to comply with Institute rules and regulations. Students who have not visited the school facilities prior to enrollment will have the opportunity to withdraw without penalty within three days following either the start of class or following a tour of the school facilities and inspection of equipment.

The $125.00 application fee/enrollment deposit is completely refundable if the applicant cancels within five (5) days after submitting the fee/deposit, provided the student has not entered training. The enrollment deposit of $100.00 is non-refundable if the student does not start class. An applicant rejected by the school is entitled to a refund of all monies paid minus the application fee.

For up to 60% of the semester’s completion, the amount of the refund including tuition, fees, room and other charges assessed, will be calculated on a pro-rata basis of that enrollment period, minus:

  • Unpaid charges owed by the student for the period of enrollment, and
  • An administrative fee of the lesser of 5% of the tuition, fees, room and other assessed charges, or $100.00.

Upon completion of 60% of the semester the student will be responsible for 100% of the tuition, fees, room and other charges assessed.
